Hosting an Americorps Member

Each year KCB hosts an Americorps Member.

To increase the capacity of KCB to engage in the community, engage the public, and promote programming, an AmeriCorps Service member is hired for a 11-month period. The member supports environmental education programming, conducts outreach to local community organizations, and implements environmental stewardship programs and initiatives for the public.
