What we do
Friends of Keep Charlotte Beautiful was organized to help support the goals and mission of Keep Charlotte Beautiful (KCB) and to promote the cleanliness and beautification of the City of Charlotte through education, public awareness, and community cleanups.
KCB was founded in 1974 and is one of the nation's first Keep America Beautiful affiliates. The KCB board works closely with neighborhood organizations and homeowner groups, as well as with area businesses, schools, and local governments, to create a healthier environment. KCB programs enhance the quality of life for Charlotteans by providing opportunities to maintain and improve the cleanliness and beauty of our city
